Like the windows shown to the right, there may be depth limitations which restrict the window treatments that work best for an opening. Graber offers the most choices for windows with restrictions. There are clever ways to improve the appearance of oddly shaped and limited sized windows in awkward places.

I'm going to cover something I've experienced my whole life:

That Ferrari Enzo was great on flat roads and even better on the curves and everything was running great until you ran over that three foot pothole on the New York City West Side Highway. Stranded now on the side of the interstate, as lunatics fly by you expressing their freedom of speech, maybe has you re-evaluating that purchase?

Blinds are not all that different. Instead of talking about style and visual presence, I am going to FIRST ask you about your personality, and how you currently habitate in your choice of world space.

So here's a list of useful questions you likely won't find anywhere else:

Honest answers to these simple questions may not guarantee an escape from buyer remorse, but chances will be better that you will be considering your habits and personality more carefully before buying those fancy roman shades that accumulate dust and have to be constantly opened and closed.

Yes they are elaborate and expensive, but I can offer some cellular and sheer shades that also have fantastic designs, but require less cleaning, and don't need to be constantly opened and closed every morning and evening.

Maybe those roman shades could fill a comfy role in a bedroom, while basswood blinds better fill a home office structure?

Graber roller shades still offer elaborate designs, but remain the least expensive motorized choice. Program them with a Z-Wave timer and you won't have to open or close them ever again!

Window treatment options have improved dramatically over the last twenty years. Once considered a luxury, motorization is less expensive and can make an exotic looking blackout or roman shade more practical with rechargeable power or a set it and forget it solar panel.

Graber quality is generally superior to anything you will find online and in stores, and to prove that fact we can show you samples of all the others. This way you can see for yourself the dramatic differences: the metal (not cheap plastic and easily breakable) wand hook, the stainless and aluminum hardware, and the generally solid feeling from the mechanism.

Many customers often already have an exact idea of what they are looking for, and usually in that case I simply generate an online generated quote immediately with all specifications from the internet on a portable printer.

	Privacy doesn't have to be sacrificed, just to have some light entering a room.

		There are four basic options:

		Sheer: All of the light without privacy

		Light Filtering: Most of the light without privacy

		Room Darkening: Privacy with some light

		Blackout: No light at all

	Window treatments are either installed inside a window, or completely outside the window.

		Inside Mount:
		Cleaner looking and takes up less space, but can sometimes have a small light gap to solve. Careful consideration regarding depth and valance position will avoid later disappointment. Sometimes a generally thinner product will look cleaner inside a window with less depth. Some products cannot be installed in some windows.

		Outside Mount:
		Will never have a light gap and allows for a larger and more exotic valance. All product selections can be installed.

Once we've narrowed your prefences down from the thirteen different product lines, its time to take a look in the van and actually see the product. Not a picture, not a video: the actual hand sample. You will be able to raise and lower it and really inspect product quality. For each selection I have a book with hundreds of sample swatches to select from.

If cost is a consideration, I have the complete pricing, for all sizes printed in nice fake leather manuals, and online. So, maybe we'll look at the lower, less expensive price groups first, or maybe not :-)

My pricing is really competitive. To give a little perspective:

For only the cost of some ordinary blinds from a competitor,
I can often throw in a superior valance, or even rod pocket drapes for the sides.

With my price point, motorization might be considered ALREADY FREE. Consider how motorization can change your entire design:

Cellular shades can remain lowered, and always provide light and privacy, but what if you only want that privacy SOME OF THE TIME. Maybe a blackout natural shade with dramatic style can offer fantastic visual improvement, but without battling a cord, after a long busy evening.

Motorized just allows for more PRACTICAL options.

I'm not restricted to selling only Graber, which can RARELY be expensive, but I'm only selling blinds with a real warranty made in America. My cheap online plastic blind samples are only being used as an example of what NOT to buy.

An example of a rarely expensive window treatment might be of a woven wood shade that has to be fabricated by hand with multiple components having reeds and wool bound by polyester fabric. Its FANTASTIC! It's also expensive, with materials warranted to last a lifetime, by GRABER.

There's nothing wrong with inexpensive but high quality Waverly or Schumacher fabric over a well made (not sagging or rusting) Kirsch rod.
